COVERGIRL Capitol Collection: A Catching Fire Collaboration with Lionsgate

When the movie The Hunger Games (2012) by Gary Ross was released last year, Youtube videos on the makeup looks and hair styles exploded all over the web.  Makeup lovers fell in love with the makeup and costumes utilized in the creation of the film. Besides the great storyline inspired by the books of Suzanne Collins, the scenery and characterization was amazing. 

After the success of the first film, Lionsgate is now preparing to release The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on November 22, 2013. However, this year, they are collaborating with COVERGIRL, a brand that is a leader in the make up and beauty industry, and one of my favorite brands! 

As an exclusive partner, COVERGIRL will launch the Capitol Collection, a special line of cosmetics that will focus on the theme of the movie. Esi Eggleston, General manager of Global P&G Cosmetics, said the following regarding the partnership: "With The Hunger Games: Catching Fire partnership, we wanted to redefine cosmetics' relationship to film with a fantasy-meets-reality beauty experience." During the production of the film, the makeup department utilized COVERGIRL cosmetics to produce the amazing looks of the characters. Below you will find the trailer of The Hunger Games, which promises to surprise us one more time! 

Although not a lot of details have been released regarding the Capitol Collection, I know that COVERGIRL will come out with innovative products that will, as the film has, captivate us and inspire us to play with our everyday looks and make the fantasy become reality.

Cuando la pelicula The Hunger Games (Los Juegos del Hambre) (2012) de Gary Ross debuto el año pasado, YouTube exploto con miles de videos recreando los maquillajes y peinados utilizados en esta pelicula. Los amantes del maquillaje se enamoraron con los maquillajes y atuendos utilizados, ya que aparte de tener una historia interesante basada en los libros de Suzanne Collins, la version cinematografica también tenia una caracterizacion increible.  

Despues de el exito de la primera película, Lionsgate ahora se prepara para lanzar The Hunger Games: Catching Fire el 22 de Noviembre del 2013. Este año, Lionsgate estará colaborando con COVERGIRL, quien estara creando una coleccion exclusiva inspirada en la pelicula. 

 La colección será llamada Capitol Collection, y estará disponible muy pronto.  Respecto a esta colaboración, Esi Eggleston Vicepresidente y Gerente de P&G cosmetics comento: "A través de esta alianza con The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, queremos redefinir la relación entre los cosméticos y las películas como una experiencia de belleza en donde la fantasía y la realidad se encuentran." Durante la produccion de esta, los maquillistas utilizaron productos de COVERGIRL para crear los increibles maquillajes que veremos en la película, y los cuales hemos podido apreciar en el trailer.  Una vez mas,  The Hunger Games promete sorprendernos! 

Aunque aun no se dan muchos detalles aserca de la coleccion Capitol Collection , se que COVERGIRL nos sorprenderá con productos inovadores que, como la pelicula, nos cautivaran y nos inspiraran a jugar con nuestros looks diarios, y hacer que la fantasia se vuelva realidad.
