CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation Review

I have heard a lot of buzz on the CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous foundation and when I tried it, I realized why. This foundation claims to be a primer, concealer and have wonderful blendability.  It also claims to be shine free.

Primer Claim: This foundation lasts a long time. I have 12 hour (school and work) days and it lasted until I got home. I did have to check for shine six or seven hours after its application, but the oil (if there was any) was not excessive. The makeup did not vanish after my 12 hr school/work days!

Concealer Claim: I would say that the coverage is medium. Although it covers redness very well (as you can see from the picture below), it does need two coats or extra foundation in order to make it a higher coverage foundation.

Blendability Claim: If I could rate the blendability of this foundation, I would give it a 8. Although it blends very well, I have noticed that on certain occasions I need to go back and add more foundation because it dried fast and did not blend all over; however, most of the time I do not have a problem.

Shine-Free Claim: This foundation has a semi-matte finish; however, it does not accentuate my dry areas. It does control oil very well. Although I did notice shine throughout the day, it did control it better than other drugstore foundations I have tried.

He escuchado mucho sobre la base de maquillaje CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous. Esta base clama ser una pre-base, corrector, y tener una buena difuminacion. Aparte, clama controlar el brillo. Vamos a ver que tan bien cumple sus promesas:


Pre-base: Esta base de maquillaje tiene una alta durabilidad. Tengo dias largos donde estoy fuera (en la escuela y trabajo) por 12 horas seguidas y la base me ha durado hasta mi regreso a casa. Durante esos días si tengo que checar/quitar el brillo de mi cara pero eso es después de seis o siete horas de uso. Después de 12 horas el maquillaje sigue sin moverse de mi cara.

Corrector: Yo diria que la cobertura de esta base es mediana. Aunque si cubre mis areas rojas muy bien (como pueden ver en la foto de antes y después que esta abajo), no cubre muy bien los granitos y no tiene una cobertura completa. Para tener máxima cobertura tengo que poner dos capas de maquillaje.

Difuminacion: Si le pudiera dar una calificación a la difuminacion de esta base, le daría un 8. Aunque si se difumina bien, he notado que en ciertas ocasiones tengo que regresar a agregar base de maquillaje ya que la base se seco y no se difumino; sin embargo, son muy pocas las veces que me ha pasado.

Control de Brillo: Esta base tiene un acabado semi-mate; sin embargo, no acentua las areas secas. Controla el brillo relativamente bien. Aunque si note brillo durante el dia, no fue tan excesivo y lo controlo mejor que algunas otras bases que he probado.
