There are only three times in the year when I treat myself to a new cellphone gadget, and that is Christmas, my birthday, or after the tax season. This year, I did my taxes kind of late, so I'm still waiting for my tax returns; however, I got the opportunity to try the new cellphone plans from Walmart and let me tell you, they are not your usual no-contract plans. First of all, let me start by saying that these lines are powered by T-Mobile. I have been a T-mobile client for more than ten years. I love their prices, coverage, and great phone selection, and you do not get any less of a service with the postpaid plans at Walmart. As a matter of fact, you can save money. These are one of the cheapest wireless plans out there. They have two types of plans, a $29.88 Unlimited Talk & Text and a $39.88 Unlimited Talk, Text, and Web. FYI: Some carriers charge up to $30 dollars a month only for web usage, so you do the math.

The selection of smartphones is also great (as you can see from the photos below). They have a large variety of phones for under $100. The Galaxy Exhibit is one of their newest additions, and it has become extremely popular. I had to go to three different stores to find it because it was sold out everywhere. The cashier at my local Walmart told me that the Galaxy Exhibit usually only lasts a couple of days in-stock because of its popularity. Having used the Samsung Galaxy S3 for over a year, I can say that the Galaxy Exhibit is the same, but on a smaller body and a to-die-for price of $99.88. I recommend it 100%. You can check e-mail, play fun games, download a large variety of apps, and use all of your social media sites. Oh, and if you have family abroad, you need to download Viber. Although you can also purchase an Extras Pack to call abroad, why would you want to pay more? If you family members have a smart phone and a data plan, you can speak with them for free.

Solo hay tres ocasiones en el año donde me consiento con un nuevo teléfono o producto electrónico y esas fechas son Navidad, mi cumple años, y al recibir mi reembolso de los taxes (impuestos). Este año los hice un poco tarde, así que aun estoy esperando mi reembolso, pero Walmart me invito a probar sus nuevos planes telefónicos y a hacer una reseña de su nuevo teléfono, el Galaxy Exhibit. Déjenme decirles que estos planes no son sus típicos planes prepagados con mala calidad de servicio y recepción. Estos planes son manejados por la compañía T-mobile. Yo he sido cliente de T-mobile por mas de diez años. Me encanta sus precios, la cobertura, y la selección de teléfonos, y ustedes no obtienen nada menos en este servicio de Walmart. De hecho, ahorras aun mas dinero. Los planes de Walmart son unos de los mas baratos que hay. Los precios son $29.88 por llamadas y textos ilimitados y $39.88 por llamadas, textos, e internet ilimitados. Por si no lo saben, algunas compañías de teléfonos cobran hasta $30 dolares solo por el uso mensual del internet.

La selección de teléfonos inteligentes es también muy buena (como pueden ver en las fotos de abajo). Tienen una gran variedad de teléfonos por menos de $100. El Galaxy Exhibit es uno de sus teléfonos mas nuevos, y se ha vuelto extremadamente popular. Tube que ir a tres tiendas diferentes para encontrarlo por que en todas estaba agotado. Me comento la cajera que el Galaxy Exhibit solo dura un par de días disponible antes de agotarse. Habiendo usado el Galaxy S3 por mas de un año, puedo decirles que el Galaxy Exhibit es casi lo mismo, pero en un tamaño mas pequeño y a un precio para morirse! Solo cuesta $99.88. Yo lo recomiendo al 100%. Con este teléfono puedes revisar tu correo electrónico, jugar juegos, bajar las aplicaciones de fotos que mas te gusten, conectarte a todas tus redes sociales, ver videos en Youtube, y mantenerte conectado con tus familiares y amigos en todo el mundo. Aunque Walmart tienen un paquete de Extras para hacer llamadas internacionales, yo te recomiendo bajar la aplicación Viber para poder hablar gratis con personas de todo el mundo.

Purchasing a Walmart #Familymobile Plan
I'm sure many of you (especially parents) are sick of overpaying for cell phone bills. Well, these plans are a great option to #maxyourtax. Not only will you be saving at the time of purchase, but every month! and you can still add up to five lines.
How to do it? EASY!
1) Go to your nearest Walmart Store.
2) Go to the electronics part of the store. You will find the cellphones right next to the cashiers desk on the Electronics department.
3) Choose a phone that appeals to you, you can also bring your GSM compatible phone if you wish.
4) Purchase a $25 Starter Kit (Sim card).
5) Pay at the register and activate it yourself via telephone or web. There are no credit checks or additional fees. By the way, the representative at my local store activated the phone for me, which I really appreciated. :-)
6) To pay your bill, you will receive a text every month and you can pay via telephone, web, or at your local Walmart.

Estoy segura que muchos de ustedes (especialmente los que son padres) están cansados de pagar mucho dinero por el teléfono de sus hijos. Pues, estos planes de Walmart son una excelente opción para sacarle provecho a sus reembolsos de este año, ya que no solo van a ahorrar en la compra de los teléfonos, si no que también van a ahorrar todo el año. Ya no tendrán que preocuparse por si sus hij@s se pasan de minutos o usan mas internet del que tienen contratado.

Como aplicar para uno de estos planes? MEGA FACIL!
1) Visita tu tienda Walmart mas serrana.
2) Visita el area de electrónicos de la tienda. Ahi encontraras los telefonos al lado de la caja de ese departamento.
3) Escoge el telefono que mas te guste, o trae tu propio telefono desbloqueado que tenga acceso a tarjetas GSM.
4) Compra la tarjeta o kit basico que cuesta solo $25 dólares.
5) Paga por tu teléfono y el kit basico en la caja y activa tu celular por internet o por telefono. No te revisan tu credito y no hay cargos ocultos.
6) Para pagar tu cuenta, cada mes recibirás un texto diciéndote lo que debes y solo tienes que ir a la tienda Walmart a pagar, o lo puedes hacer por teléfono. También tienes la opción de que se pague automáticamente cada mes si brindas una tarjeta de crédito o de banco.

So, wether you are getting a new cellphone or using an old one, you can still pamper yourself with new accessories for your phone. I was in desperate need of a cellphone car holder. I hate using the GPS and not being able to see the map, so I purchased a cell phone mount. To "pimp my phone" I purchased a little cellphone accessory that goes inside the headphone input, and makes my phone look super girly and different from all others, and of course I also bought a new bluetooth devise to use when I'm driving, and new headphones to listen to my favorite music.

Aunque no compres un teléfono nuevo, aun asi puedes consentirte con nuevos accesorios para tu teléfono. Yo estaba desesperada por un accesorio para poner mi teléfono para que lo pudiera ver cuando tuviera el GPS prendido y lo compre. Walmart tiene muy buenos precios y una amplia selección de accesorios para celulares. También me compre un manos libres para hablar por teléfono en el carro, unos audífonos para escuchar música, y un accesorios para hacer que mi teléfono se vea chic y diferente.
