My favorite holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) are almost here and with them comes preparing our outfits and makeup looks; however, many of us spend the day preparing to host those special evenings, which sometimes leaves us with zero time to do our makeup! For me, at least, during Christmas it doesn't matter how soon we begin to prepare the Tamales, we always run out of time! That is why today I will teach you a 5 minute eye look with Milani products that is easy to achieve and that will complement almost any outfit!

I don't know about you, but spending time with my family is something that I'm always looking forward to. We do not have any family in San Diego; therefore, my parents, my brother, and I (along with our significant others) make sure to spend quality time with each other on these special occasions. In Mexico we used to go to Posadas. Everyone in our street cooperated and we had a huge festivity where everyone had a role and was responsable for something. I miss those times a TON! Even though there are Posadas in the U.S. as well, they are not the same. That is why being together is always the best way to spend the holidays as we can speak about the people and customs we miss and enjoy our favorite Mexican food together!

So, whether you are attending a Thanksgiving party, a Posada, or a Christmas or New Year's Celebration, this eye look will help you be in the holiday mood and will minimize the time you spend getting ready and maximize the time with your family and friends! Plus, these products are very affordable and can easily be found at CVS. You don't need to break the bank to look beautiful this holiday season!

Mis fiestas favoritas (Acción de Gracias y Navidad) están por llegar y con ellas llegua la preparación de atuendos y maquillajes para fiestas; sin embargo, muchas de nosotras pasamos la mayoría del día preparando la cena para esa noche especial, lo cual nos deja aveces sin tiempo para maquillarnos! Yo por lo menos en Navidad, no importa que tan temprano comenzamos a hacer los Tamales siempre nos hace falta mas tiempo. Por eso el día de hoy les traigo un look de ojos en 5 minutos con productos de Milani! Este look es fácil y complementa casi cualquier atuendo!

No se ustedes pero el pasar tiempo en familia es algo que siempre me emociona mucho. Nosotros no tenemos familia en San Diego así que mis padres, mi hermano y yo (junto con nuestras respectivas parejas) siempre tratamos de pasar tiempo de calidad en estas épocas. En Mexico participábamos en las Posadas. Recuerdo que toda la cuadra cooperaba y se organizaba para hacer las Posadas. Siempre deseaba que llegara esa época y puedo decir que es algo que extraño MUCHISIMO por que aunque aquí en USA también hay personas que hacen posadas, no son igual. Por esa razón el estar juntos en familia en esta época es vital ya que podemos pasar el tiempo platicando sobre nuestras costumbres y disfrutando nuestra comida mexicana favorita que de una manera u otra nos transportan al nuestro Mexico.

Asi que no importa si vas a ir a una Cena de Acción de Gracias, a una Posada, o a una fiesta de Navidad o Año Nuevo, este look de ojos te ayudara a estar a doc con la ocasión y te ayudara a minimizar el tiempo que duras arreglandote y maximizar el tiempo que pases con tus familiares y amigos. Aparte, este look es muy económico y fácil de recrear ya que todo lo puedes encontrar en CVS. No necesitas gastarte un dineral para verte bien en esta época de fiestas!

5 Minute Holiday Eyes/ Ojos Para Fiestas en 5 Minutos

If you are like me and have very light eyebrows, filling in the gaps and defining them is a must! The Stay Put Brow Gel is very easy to use, it does not look harsh, and it comes with an excellent quality brush!

Si tu como yo tienes unas cejas muy claras, entonces el rellenarlas es un paso de diario! El Gel Stay Put Brow Gel es muy fácil de usar, no se ve muy marcado, y viene con una brocha de excelente calidad!

The second step is to prime the eyes with an Eyeshadow Primer that will help your make up last past midnight, and a base that will make any color you add on top pop. In here I'm using Milani's eyeshadow Primer and the first color in the Milani Fierce Foil Eye Shine 03 palette as a base. This is a super quick step that can easily be achieved with your fingers!

El segundo paso es agregar la Pre-base de Ojos ya que te ayudara a que tu maquillaje dure hasta pasando la media noche. También agregare una base para que los colores que use resalten mas y se vean mas brillosos. Aquí estoy usando la primera sombra del Milani Fierce Foil Eye Shine en numero 03. Este es un paso muy fácil y que puedes hacer con tus dedos.

On top of the eyeshadow base I will use Bella Eyes Eyeshadow in Bella Copper and then I will add Bella Mandarin on the outer part of the eye and I will extend it to the crease.

Arriba de la pre-base agregare el color Bella Copper y después agregare el color Bella Mandarin desde la orilla del ojo y pasándolo por la cuenca.

Then, I will add a little of Bella Taupe on the outer part of the eye (as pictured above) and Bella Emerald below the lower lash line.

Después agregare un poco de Bella Taupe en la parte de afuera del ojo (como pueden ver en la foto) y agregare Bella Emerald en la parte de abajo de las pestañas inferiores.

I continued by adding the Bella Chiffon highlight on the brow bone and on the tear duct area and then I added the Fierce Foil Eyeliner in Black Gold Foil and a regular eyeliner on the rim of the eyes.

Después continue por iluminar el hueso de la ceja y el lagrimal con la sombra Bella Chiffon. Continue por usar el Fierce Foil Eyeliner en Black Gold Foil como delineador y un delineador normal todo al rededor del ojo!

You could end by just adding a little mascara, but if you have extra time you can add eyelashes (I recommend the half- lashes as they are quicker to apply), blush and highlighter to make your facial features stand out! FYI: The Milani Rose Blush Collection is my favorite. In Here I'm using the tone Romantic Rose!

Puedes terminar usando un poco de rímel en los ojos y ya pero si tienes un poco mas de tiempo puedes agregar pestañas postizas (recomiendo las de acento ya que son mas fáciles de agregar) y rubor e iluminador para darle mas definición a tu cara. Yo estoy usando el rubor Romantic Rose de la colección Rose Blush. Por si no lo saben estos rubores son de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos!

Lastly, and as I mentioned above, it does not matter if you don't have time to do your eyes, just make sure you have a lipstick that will give your face a pop of color. Milani's Color Statement Lipstick in Brandy Berry is very hydrating and it is the perfect tone for any fall or holiday look!
